Uncle Albert's was established in 1972 and has evolved with the furniture fashion trends over the years.

Uncle Albert's also takes great pride in providing monthly insurance premiums for the Cowichan Food Connection Van which now delivers 12,000 to 15,000 loaves of bread per month to schools, food banks, senior centres, VIU and shelters. The Cowichan Valley is a great community filled with generosity. The Food Connection alone has about 10 volunteers and has many sponsors among its 200 members.
